Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have reportedly ended their four year-long relationship, but some insiders aren’t totally convinced that it’s really over for them.
A source for People shed some insight on the couple’s relationship, noting that the split is unsurprising given that two have “always” had issues to work through.
“Their relationship has always been bumpy,” the source told the outlet. “They love each other but don’t have compatible personalities. They’re both hot-heads, dramatic and stubborn. When they’re good together, they’re great.”
The insider added, “They will very likely get back together. They’ve split in the past and then worked things out.”
Fox and Kelly are currently expecting their first child together. The Jennifer’s Body star announced the news with a nude maternity shoot on Instagram last month.
“They’ve both been ecstatic about the baby,” another insider told People. “They really wanted this baby.”
The baby will be the fourth child for Fox—who shares sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green—and the second child for Kelly, who has 15-year-old daughter Casie with ex Emma Cannon.
Kelly and Fox began dating in 2020 and later got engaged in 2022. Fox has since confirmed that the two called off the engagement during turbulent periods of their relationship.
“I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption,” she said during a March 2024 appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se. What I can say is [he] is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what. I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.”
