The second season of Tell Me Lies — based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Carola Lovering that follows eight tempestuous years in the life of couple Lucy and Stephen (White)— premiered Sept. 4 on Hulu, with its finale airing Oct. 16.
The show features a lot of canoodling and hooking up, which White explained can get a little tricky with an intimacy coordinator only there for one week of filming.
"There'd be like a sex week, and there'd be like sex scenes all day long," White said on his parents Katey SagalandKurt Sutter's podcastSlice of Pie. "There'd be like an intimacy coordinator running from set to set because Lucy (real-life girlfriend Grace Van Patten) and Leo (Thomas Doherty) were doing it, but then Bree (Catherine Missal) and Oliver (Tom Ellis) were doing it, and it would be like, sex days."
